The Busy Persons Workout Routine

For those people who don't have the time to hit the gym. And the main reason no one wants to live with me.

1) 10 jumping jacks when you get on the computer, 10 whenever you go to a different web page or hit refresh
2)you can switch in crunches with #1
3) lunges in the place of walking, for instance when walking into the kitchen to get a glass of water.
4)If lunges get dull, hop, yes, hop, its more strenuous then jumping jacks and more exciting too
5)whenever you enter a new room do 10 pushups
6)in general, just take the stairs, unless you live 15 floors up your just lazy (and trust me I know lazy)
7)when watching TV do chair squats

Anything else??

Since it doesn't look like I'll be saving the world anytime soon

I like to be aware of world news. International Affairs is of great interest to me. When wars break out, if I can't be on the front lines reporting or running medical supplies to people in need, I'd at least like to be kept up to date. Especially by the people involved, the civilians who didn't ask for a war, and probably haven't even picked on anyone since that one time when they were 5. So when I found Global Voices, I was beyond excited and then immediately saddened. The first post I read was from a man in Gaza. His daughter had been killed along with several other children in a school. The School had been bombed, there was a picture and shrapnel everywhere. This is the reason my mom doesn't watch the news. I understand, but personally feel if I don't know about it, then I can't possibly help. And this is my one way of helping. Raising awareness.

Global Voices describe themselves as "a leading participatory media news room for voices from the developing world". You can choose to just read the big stories, or you can read a personal blog from a struggling parent in the Philippines. For some the internet is really there only form of communication with the outside world. If anything this site proves that technology has advanced for the better.

Sorry Morning News Shows

You'll have to step up in order to compete with Rocketboom. Hell, after one show, I feel like I learned more than watching 10 episodes of Good, Morning America. But I only compare this to morning news shows because the morning is really the only time I have to watch anything. At the end of the day, I'm too tired to concentrate, and can't forgo my before dinner nap.

'Rocketboom is a daily international news program based in New York City. We cover and create a wide range of information and commentary from top news stories to contemporary internet culture.

Watch daily on this website, subscribe via email, iTunes, or RSS, browse our archives, or find Rocketboom on many off-site destinations like YouTube, Vimeo and Yahoo!' (excerpt from the site)
