Lingua
I think the only word I remember from my Latin classes is Puella-Girl. And thats most likely because it was on the very first page that I opened to every time I opened up my Latin book. Kinda pathetic, I know. But, who cares about the dead. Lets hear about they dying. According to kottke from an article in Seed Magazine 'the last fluent speaker of a language dying once every two weeks'. I can't imagine what it must be like to be the last person able to speak a certain language. How lonely.

Skyscrapers
Architects make cut backs because of recession, our imagined skyline suffers. Unrelated, it seems as though everyone is having to redefine who they are and what they do (not everyone), and there sights are set on economically friendly ideas. People who used to make something out of nothing are now being forced to take something and make it s0meth1ing. Creativity is key.
